How can I love when I'm afraid To fall? But watching you stand alone, All of my doubt Suddenly goes away somehow. One step closer… I have died everyday waiting for you. Darlin', don't be afraid, I have loved you for a Thousand years; I'll love you for a thousand more… She still remembered that first night, waking up in the barn’s hayloft. Light had engulfed her vision first thing, causing her to whine and bury her head in the chest of the person next to her. Which had honestly startled her so much, she sat up with a start, looking around. Clothes were scattered all over the loft, even her shirt and jeans, causing her to turn beet red. She crossed her arms across her chest, inspecting herself cautiously. Bite marks had covered her shoulders and she was positive she had more than just two hickies on her neck. The then sixteen year old tugged her legs to her chest looking over to see the guy she loved. And now, merely five years, many bad fights, one nasty break-up and a chase up to New York later, here she was on the phone with him. Chelsea flopped onto the bed in their apartment, holding her phone to her ear and grinning. "Yes, babe. I miss you too," she smiled, kicking off her red flannel pajama pants. "God it's boring. I hate it here, Lukey," she whined, flipping over so was on her stomach. She was clad in his hoodie and a pair of boy shorts, with her brown hair down in her eyes. "I really shouldn't be complaining though... But you are going everywhere. Lucky duck," she rambled, yawning. It had been two months since she had last seen her fiancé, the one and only Luke Rowland, and she missed him dearly. Her hazel eyes teared up when she thought of him and the day he asked her marry him. She sighed, wiping her eyes. "No babe, I'm just fine," she reassured him. "Hold on a second..." Chelsea slipped the hoodie off over her head. She was getting hot in the room, plus she was alone. It wasn't like anyone would see her in just her black sports bra and zebra print boy shorts. "Back! But I really should go... Call me when you get in, sweetie," she smiled, before hanging up. She yawned, crawling under her sheets with her kitten, Cheshire, crawling up on the sheets, meowing at her. "I know Chessy," she sighed, petting the pudgy kitten. "I miss him too." Cheshire batted at the necklace around her neck, her infamous dinosaur one. Chelsea scooped the kitten into her arms and scratched his stomach, getting purrs of contentment from the bitty feline. She reached over and grabbed her iPod, turning on the music. The brunette chuckled as Katy Perry's song, "Last Friday Night" started playing. She wished that was what was going as the rain poured down outside. © melly welly from caution 2.0 | LYRICS BY CHRISTINA PERRI OUTFIT: HERE | NO IDEA WORDS | NOTES: TADA |
